When Christians Fail the Test of Faith by Eating Poison, They Claim from the Hadith that the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) Said Eating Ajwa Dates Destroys Poison

When Christians fail the test of faith by eating poison, they claim from the hadith that the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ)
said eating Ajwa dates destroys poison.

Sheep of Jesus (pbuh) and anti-islamist are narreted this hadith

In the hadith it is said that if poison is consumed by eating ajwa date, it will not cause poisoning. [I have not found any such hadith.] So believing Muslims should prove the authenticity of the statement of the hadith by eating ajwa date. Hadith: On the authority of Saad (RA), he said: I heard the Messenger (ﷺ) say that whoever eats Ajwa dates in the morning, no poison or magic can harm him that day.[1]Bukhari, Medical/treatment Chapter, Hadeeth No. 5364

Al-Sakhawi said the same thing in Fath al-Mugeet, Every hadith you find against intellect or (find it) contradicting (well-established) principles, rest assured that it is fabricated. Therefore, you do not need to consider it i.e. do not take into account its narrators and do not look into their criticism. It is a statement against reality that there will be no harm even if poison is consumed. Yet why did the imams of the hadith record the hadith? Because the interpretation of the Hadith by our anti-Islamic brothers is wrong. And none of the Arabs of that time read the hadith and understood that even if they eat poison (External Toxin) there will be no poisoning. And not only Rasul ﷺ said about the detoxification power of Ajwa date, but Ajwa date is a traditional herbal treatment of Arabs. Dates have been cultivated in Central Asia for over 6,000 years. The Arabs of that time knew the virtues of Ajwa dates, but no one interpreted the hadith to mean that the poison would not work even if poisoned by eating Ajwa dates. They knew that it plays a protective role against internal toxins that originate in the body and cause various diseases. And the Messenger ﷺ said that.It was narrated from Hasan RA that the Prophet ﷺ used to speak little, but it meant a great deal. (Tirmidhi) This hadith of Ajwa dates is also very meaningful and contains some subtle information of medical science which can greatly improve the current medical science. Since the few words of Rasool (ﷺ) had more significance, it is natural that a common sense person would not be able to unravel the mystery of the hadith without thorough research. and will misinterpret. There has been a lot of research on Ajwa dates and I will only discuss information from research papers published in various journals.[2]University of Iowa Health Care. (2013, August 20). Bacterial toxins cause deadly heart disease: Superantigens produced by staph bacteria are required for deadly effects of infective endocarditis and sepsis. ScienceDaily. Retrieved October 18, 2022 from https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2013/08/130820083755.htm What is Ajwa Date and for whom is it applicable? What did the Arabs at that time understand from the hadith? Ajwa is not like other ordinary dates, it is the best quality date from Madinah and much sweeter. Dates contain Vitamin B complex, Vitamin C, Selenium, Copper, Potassium, Magnesium and Dates are rich in carbohydrates which give us instant energy. The same is said in the Holy Qur’an: Surah Maryam: (25-26), ❝And shake the stem of a date-palm tree towards you, and ripe dates will fall on you. While eating, drinking and cooling the eyes…❞

Now, let’s look at the rest of the hadiths related to Ajwa: Other hadiths talk about having breakfast with dates every day and in the morning. And it will give your body the power to fight against toxins and according to Rasul ﷺ it works best if taken in the morning. Injected or external poison is not meant here, but the toxins produced in the body that cause various diseases are talked about. This can be understood by looking at the following hadiths: On the authority of Aisha (RA), the Prophet (ﷺ) said, Ajwa dates are curative and antidote in the morning. (Sahih Muslim) By the above hadith the Messenger (ﷺ) explained the curative properties of dates by explaining that poison cannot harm them. And if you look at other hadiths, it shows that the maximum benefit of ajwa date is if it is eaten in the morning on an empty stomach while fasting. And the Companions understood that, as Bacterial toxins can cause fatal heart disease. One day Companion Saad (RA) also had a similar heart problem and Rasul (ﷺ) advised him to eat Ajwa dates…[3]Sunan-e-Abu Dawud, Hadeeth No. 3835

Narrated by Ishaq Ibn Ismail (RA) – – -Sa’ad (RA). He said: Once I was afflicted, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came to see me. When he placed his hand on my chest, I felt his coldness in my heart. Then he said: You are a heart patient. So you go to Harisha Ibn Kaldar, a resident of the tribe of Shakif. Because, he is an experienced doctor. And let him take seven dates of the Ajwa dates of Madinah, crush them with their seeds and make seven pills for you. It can be understood that the Prophet (ﷺ) means internal toxin by poison. Because if Ajwa dates were for External Toxin, why did the Prophet (ﷺ) say to take Ajwa for heart disease? Because Ajwa dates are effective on internal toxin, he asked to take Ajwa for heart disease, isn’t that right? Bacterial toxins can cause heart disease, cholesterol itself is a toxin and also causes many heart diseases and Ajwa dates can be given as a treatment. Is it not clear from the hadith that the Prophet (ﷺ) did not mean external toxin but internal toxin and it has been proven in various researches that dates have detoxification power. Rasool ﷺ explained about Internal Toxin in Hadith and many other proofs can be given. For instance, Ajwa Dates can be used for Detoxification of a Toxic Liver. Because Ajwa is proven to have Detoxification power. And ajwa is very beneficial for liver disease.…

Ali (RA) said, “He who eats seven dates every day, it kills his stomach ailments.[4]Kanzul Ummal, Hadith 28472

So it is clear that the hadith is not talking about external toxins. Rather, it plays a protective role against toxins inside the body that cause disease in our body.[5]World Journal of Dairy & Food Sciences 9 (2): 308-316, 2014: Nutritional Value, Cytotoxicity, Anti-Carcinogenic and Beverage Evaluation of Roasted Date Pits But in discussing the hadith with the haters of Islam, they repeatedly mentioned External Toxin. Which is a misinterpretation. If we do not understand properly what is toxin then we will not be able to retrieve the meaning of the hadith. They consider toxin to be the poisonous liquid found in the bottle. But they don’t know that our human body is a wonder place. It poisons itself, and resists itself. Our body is constantly producing toxins. Our body is constantly burning energy to rebuild tissue, replace dead cells, and in doing so, the body produces a good amount of internal toxins. Since our body is constantly producing toxins, it never gets a break to identify them. And it becomes malignant only when they accumulate and damage surrounding cells and organs. So our body needs detoxification. By searching the internet you will find many foods that help in detoxification. And the suggestion of our Prophet (ﷺ) is to eat seven Ajwa dates in the morning, it will detoxify your body and protect it from poison.

Alhamdulillah. Modern researchs had also accepted this. But the haters of Islam are trying to divert the original interpretation of the Hadith by repeatedly talking about external toxins. Nowhere in the hadith does it say that eating poison will not cause poisoning. It is said in the hadith, eating Ajwa dates will save you from internal toxins. So there is no question of proving the authenticity of hadith by consuming poison.[6]Ahmed MB, Hasona NaS, Selemain HAH (2008) Protective effects of extract from dates (Phoenix Dactylifera L.) and ascorbic acid on thioacetamide-induced hepatotoxicity in rats. Iran J Pharm Res 7: 193-201 We have proved that Ajwa dates are mentioned as an antidote to the internal toxin produced inside the body, not an external toxin injected in the hadith. If you drink any poison from outside, the poison drinker will die. Even playing Ajwa. And our anti-Islamic brothers have talked about willingly drinking poison. To prove that by drinking poison, Azwa is showing his work! It is foolish to claim this. Our anti-Islamic brothers may be forgetting that voluntarily taking poison will not be a test of faith, rather it will be called suicide. Even if paradise is not found through this test of faith, hell will be found for sure. Suicide is a great sin. And needless to say, spiritual foods like ajwa dates won’t save you from suicide. Just as it is foolish to hope for God’s mercy by saying Bismillah fornication, it is also foolish to eat poison and expect spiritual food like Ajwa dates to detoxify you.

Therefore, even if there was talk of external poison in the said hadith, even then the haters of Islam cannot ask us to take a test by consuming poison. Because it is natural that the fruit of heaven will not work for a great sin like suicide.[7]280-289. 28.Al-Qarawi AA, Abdel-Rahman H, Mousa HM, Ali BH, El-Mougy SA (2008) Nephroprotective action of Phoenix dactylifera in gentamicin induced nephrotoxicity. Pharm Biol 46: 227–230 Research papers have been published in several journals on the preventive role that dates play against toxins. I summarize them: Antioxidant Activity: An antioxidant is a molecule that inhibits oxidation. Oxidization is a type of chemical reaction that produces free radicals that damage cells. Oxidant stress can cause toxic effects. Which is completely consistent with the statement of the hadith. Because dates have enough antioxidant vitamins C, A, E. Oxidative damage to DNA can cause various diseases including cancer and heart failure. And research has also observed the anticancer activity of dates. So the antioxidant activity of dates will create a new possibility in the treatment of difficult diseases like cancer. Hepaprotective Activity: Ochratoxin A (OTA) is a mycotoxin produced from Aspergillus and Penicillum genera. It is a widely used pollutant. It exhibits toxin effect. It induces hepatoxicity. Which causes liver toxicity. And research has shown that ajwa dates have the ability to reduce hepatoxicity. It plays a protective role against hepatoxicity. Ali (RA) said, “He who eats seven dates every day, it kills his stomach diseases.”[8]Kanzul Ummal, Hadith 28472 It has Nephroprotective activity, Neuroprotective activity, Gastrointestinal protective activity, Anti-diabetic activity which is directly and indirectly similar to hadith. Looking at the research papers in the journals, you will know about the amazing protective role of Ajwa Date on Internal Toxic. Which is proof of the authenticity of the hadith. Alhamdulillah. . May Allah protect the believers from the lies and misinterpretations of the haters of Islam, Amen!
