হিন্দুধর্মে মানুষের মাংস খাওয়া এবং পূজায় ব্যবহার – বীভৎস ক্যানিবালিজম

ক্ষুধার ঠেলায় মানুষের মাংস খাওয়ায় পাপ নেই

মনুসংহিতায় আছে যে বেশি ক্ষুধা লাগলে মানুষের মাংসও খাওয়া যাবে, এবং তখন মানুষ খুন করাও হালাল!

এর উল্লেখ আছে অগ্নিপুরাণে,

শ্মশানে নিশাকালে নগ্ন নর মুক্তশিখ ও দক্ষিণাস্য হইয়া নরমাংস রুধির বিষ্ঠাতুষ অস্থিখণ্ড মিশ্রিত করিয়া তদ্দ্বারা শত্রুনাম উল্লেখে “ওঁ নমো ভগবতি” ইত্যাদি মন্ত্রে অষ্টত্তর শতসংখ্যক হোম করিলে ক্ষণকাল মধ্যে শত্রু দগ্ধ হইয়া যায়। “ওঁ বজ্রকায় বজ্রতুণ্ড” ইত্যাদি মন্ত্রে অষ্টত্রিংশৎ শত জপ করিলে পটে সর্ব্বকর্ম্মকারি হনুমান দর্শন হয় এবং তাহাতে শত্রু সৈন্যভঙ্গ হয়।^[3]অগ্নিপুরাণ ১২৫/৪৯-৫১

নরমাংস দিয়ে শক্তিপূজা

We shall prepare the sacrificial fire in accordance with the injunction of a Mahāyāga. O Suras, we shall then worship the greatest Śakti by means of Mahāmāṃsa (great flesh i.e. human flesh).

67. We shall become Brahman or we will be able to enjoy heaven.” On being told thus, the Devas with Indra as their leader duly performed Homa by chopping off the flesh, to the chanting of Mantras.

68-69. When all the flesh of the victim had been dropped into the holy fire including feet and hands and when Devas were desirous of offering the entire body, an excellent huge mass of brilliant lustre appeared in front of them.

65-66। আমরা পালিয়ে গেলেও কোথাও আমাদের আশ্রয়ের জায়গা নেই। অতএব, আমরা প্রশস্তভাবে একটি বলিদান গর্ত এক বানাবো। এটি চমত্কার হতে দিন এবং পুরোপুরি ভাল খনন করুন। আমরা মহাযাগের আদেশ অনুসারে যজ্ঞের আগুন প্রস্তুত করব। আমরা তাহলে মহামাংসের (মহামাংস অর্থাৎ মানুষের মাংস) মাধ্যমে সর্বশ্রেষ্ঠ শক্তির পূজা করব।

67. তাতে আমরা ব্রাহ্মণ হব নতুবা স্বর্গ ভোগ করতে পারব।” এইভাবে বলা হলে, দেবতারা ইন্দ্রকে তাদের নেতা হিসাবে যথাযথভাবে মাংস কেটে, মন্ত্র উচ্চারণ করে হোম করেছিলেন।

68-69। যখন বলির সমস্ত মাংস পা-হাত সহ পবিত্র অগ্নিতে নিক্ষেপ করা হয়েছিল এবং দেবগণ যখন সমস্ত শরীর নিবেদন করতে ইচ্ছুক ছিলেন, তখন তাদের সামনে একটি দুর্দান্ত দীপ্তিময় বিশাল জনসমাগম দেখা দিল।

শ্মশানে গিয়ে মানুষের মাংসের ব্যবসা

রাজার ইচ্ছায় এবং নুপুরের আশায় অশোক মানুষের মাংস নিয়ে শ্মশানে রাক্ষসদের কাছে ব্যবসাও করেছে,^[7]স্কন্দপুরাণ, (৩) ব্রহ্মখণ্ড, (১) সেতুমাহাত্ম্য, অধ্যায় ৯, শ্লোক ৩৭-৪৫

মহামতি অশোক এই প্রকার বহু চিন্তা করিয়া স্থির করিলেন, – আমি শ্মশানে গিয়া মহামাংস বিক্রয় করিব! সেখানে মন্ত্রবলে রাক্ষস, বেতাল ওঁ পিশাচ প্রভৃতিকে আহ্বান করিয়া আনিলে, সেই রাক্ষসীও নিশ্চয় তথায় আসিবে। সে আসিলে তাহাকে সবলে ধরিয়া অপর নূপূর গাছটী গ্রহন করিব। সহস্র রাক্ষস, অযুত পিশাচ বা কোটী বেতাল, আমা হেন বলবান্‌ ব্যক্তির কিছুই করিতে পারিবে না; আমি তাহাদিগকে গ্রাহ্যই করি না। এইরূপ নিশ্চয় করিয়া অশোক শ্মশানাভিমুখে গমন করিলেন। সেখানে গিয়া তিনি মন্ত্রবলে রাক্ষসদিগকে আহ্বানপূর্বক মহামাংস বিক্রয় করিতে লাগিলেন।

মানুষের মাংস দিয়ে ভগবতী পূজা

যুদ্ধে জেতার জন্য মানুষের মাংস দিয়ে দুর্গাপূজা করারও বিধান আছে গরুড়পুরাণে,
